Ad Hoc Invoicing via Stripe

Invoicing a client via Stripe

Updated over a week ago

Background

There may be times when you need to invoice a client for incremental costs or an overage to an existing job. You can easily do so following these steps, through your Picsello account.

Step by Step

Step 1:

Go to the client in your Jobs page, find the Finances section, and use the Actions dropdown to "Go to Stripe".

Step 2:

Click "Create" in the Invoices section for the client.

Step 3:

Select "Add items" and include a one-time item or a new product for the specific item you need to invoice the client for.

Steps 4 and 5:

Confirm any necessary settings and click "Save".

Steps 6 and 7:

Click "Review invoice" and select "Do not email customer"

Step 8:

Select "Confirm invoice" if everything looks good or "Continue editing if you need to make additional changes.

Step 9:

Select "Invoice payment page was created".

Step 10:

Copy URL link and send to client via SMS or via your Picsello account email.

Conclusion

Being able to create ad hoc invoices via Stripe will help ensure you are able to keep tabs on all profit coming into your account via your Stripe account. We do also recommend adding a manual note on the job since those charges will not be reflected in the Finances section in your Picsello account.
