Setting Up Stripe

Setting up your Stripe Account in Picsello

Updated over a week ago

Stripe is the online payment processor that Picsello utilizes to seamlessly process payments on your behalf. All payments through your Stripe account are immediately applied to the contract or gallery purchase for the customer. All funds are deposited directly into your Stripe account and then settled to your bank account on file with them. No one has access to your money but you.

To effectively use Picsello, you'll need to create a Stripe account and connect to Picsello, or connect your existing Stripe account to Picsello.

Things to Know

  • You must confirm your email address with Picsello before you can connect to Stripe. If you haven't confirmed your email address, search your email inbox (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, etc.) for an email titled "Confirm your Picsello account" and complete the steps in the email.

  • Core Picsello features and workflows - such as sending a booking proposal or accepting gallery orders - will not be accessible until you connect your new or existing Stripe account to Picsello.

Connect to Stripe (New & Existing Stripe Accounts)

The steps below apply to Picsello users creating a new Stripe account, and users connecting an existing Stripe account.

1. Log in to Picsello and click Settings from the navigation bar, then click Finances.

2. Click Stripe Account Incomplete. Here you will be redirected to Stripe.

3. Enter the email address that you want to use for your new Stripe account (or the email address associated with your existing Stripe account) and click Continue.

4. Create a password (or enter your existing Stripe password) and click Continue.

If you're connecting an existing Stripe account, you can disregard Step 5; but you'll need to confirm that your account is verified and connected to a bank account.

5. Enter your phone number and click Send text to secure your account and complete the Stripe sign-up process.

Anyone using Stripe must meet a set of checks and requirements designed by Stripe, their financial partners, the credit card networks, and regulators. This process can take a few days for new accounts. During this waiting period, the Stripe account section in Picsello will display a Check Stripe status button.

Once your account has been reviewed and verified by Stripe, this button will change to Go to Stripe Account.
