Questionnaires can be a great source of information when learning more about a lead or potential client's needs. We sometimes hear from photographers that their client is "stuck" and cannot complete the questionnaire and proceed to payment.

Here are some commons things to double-check on your end and then verify with your client:

  • Do all questions have a response type selected?

  • When asking for a phone number or email address, the response will only accept one of each. If you are looking for two or more phone numbers or email addresses, in the case of bride and groom for example, consider including two separate questions for each bride and groom OR, option to enable short text response

  • When selecting a question with a multiple choice answers, have you listed each potential answer. Also, consider adding "other" to ensure they are able to add their own

  • Have you clearly noted optional questions vs. those that are mandatory? This is a popular one that clients will often miss or overlook!

The best way to to verify your questionnaire is working as intended is to add yourself as a lead to your Picsello account, create a proposal, attach the contract and try filling it out yourself. Once you've verified your questionnaire is working as intended, you can archive the lead to clean up your account view.
