Client booking 2.0 has been thoughtfully designed to provide greater transparency and flexibility for you as the photographer to not only better manage the event but to better meet the needs of your clients.

This article is a companion to How to Create a Repeating Booking Event and How to Create a Single Booking Event and will help you navigate some of the features once you have created your booking events.


Reserving slots for VIP clients

Within Single and Repeating Booking Events, you can reserve slots for those clients you want to show a little extra TLC.

Use the search function to find the client in your Picsello account and then select “Reserve”.

You can then choose to copy the client link (to send or text separately), or select “Send client link via email” to send via your Picsello account.

When you choose to “Send client link via email” a modal with templated content will open. Client name will auto-populate and then feel free to adjust email content or subject line as you see fit. Make sure to leave the “View Booking Proposal” link intact and then “Send Email” to send direct to your client.


Messaging booked clients by date

There can be situations where you need to email all of your clients signed up for a specific date - perhaps there are certain parking directions or inclement weather is expected. View the details for the specific date you need to email your clients and select the email icon at the bottom.

A templated email modal will pop-up with client emails automatically populated in the Bcc line. Feel free to tailor the subject line and message to suit your specific needs. Select “Send”.


Rescheduling clients within a booking event

We know this happens quite often - a client books for their session and then needs to switch times or dates. You can easily get them rescheduled to an alternate time or date within the booking event.

Go to "View details" on the date the client is currently scheduled. Find their slot, go to "Actions" drop down and select "Reschedule".

In the pop-up modal you can use the date bar to scroll if needed to shift to an alternate date within the booking event. Pick the new time using the dropdown and then select "Reschedule".

You can then elect to copy the link to text or email the client separately or you can choose to "Send client link via email".

In the email modal a draft email will appear that you can modify as needed. Be mindful of noting that this is a rescheduled event in the subject line and maintain the "View Booking Proposal" link. Hit "Send Email" so your client has email confirmation and can review the details via their booking proposal link.

My Booking Event is Not Showing on Public Profile

To verify that your Booking Event is showing on your Picsello Public Profile, or if it is showing and you would prefer it not to, you will want to go to "Edit marketing details".

The toggle will automatically be off and you can toggle it to the right to "Show event on my Public Profile". You can also make any changes to the name and description for the event and hit "Save."
