Installing a Picsello Contact Form on Your Website

Getting leads from your website directly into your Picsello account!

Adding a Picsello contact form to your website will ensure that those leads are automatically added to your Picsello account. By setting up an automated email response, you can let them know you will get back to them as soon as you can or simply send them more details regarding the type of photography they are inquiring about! Providing an immediate reply will not only let your potential clients that their email was received but also that you are also responsive and will set you above the other photographers they have inquired with!

Installing your Picsello contact form on your website just takes a few steps, but if you prefer, you can always send us a note by simply clicking the help button at the bottom right-hand side of the page and we can help add it to your website for you!

Here are the steps to install a Picsello Contact Form on Your Website:

1. Log in to Picsello and click Settings from the navigation bar, then click Public Profile:


2. In the Embed your lead form section, click Preview Form.

3. Copy the embed code in the form preview and paste it into the desired location on your website.

  • If you want to embed this on your website, and are using Showit, SquareSpace, Wix, WordPress, or another page builder, you will need to put this code in a "code block" or "custom HTML embed". The form is responsive, so it will adjust its size automatically, but you may need to change its width & height depending on where it's placed on your website.

  • We recommend that you place this form on your contact page, at the bottom of most pages on your site, or on any other pages you think your clients will spend a lot of time on. You can also put your contact form in the footer of your website in addition to these other spots-make it easy for those clients to contact you!

Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a Showit Website:

1. Log in to your Showit account.

2. Locate the canvas on which you'd like to insert the Picsello Contact Form.

3. From your bottom toolbar, select Embed Code to add the Embed Code widget.

4. Add the code for your Picsello Contact Form into the Embed Info settings in the right sidebar. Here is how to find your embed code in Picsello

5. Use the resizing box to resize the widget to fit the full form on both the mobile and desktop layouts.

6. Preview your site and test the form to confirm the message you tested is received in your Picsello account.

Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a Squarespace Website:

*Note: if you want to embed any forms into Squarespace you'll need to be on their Business Plan. You can view their different plans here.

1. From your primary navigation in your Squarespace account, chose the page (s) you want to add your contact form to.

2. On Page settings, click "edit".

3. If there is already a contact form in your template, hover over the block and click the trash icon to delete it.

4. Click Edit, then the Plus (+) Button

5. Click the code option and paste the code for your Picsello Contact Form into the code box. Here is how to find your embed code in Picsello

6. Click Save in the top left corner of the window to save changes. Then, just refresh the page to see your form!

Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a Wix Website:

1. Open the Wix editor for your website.

2. Click Menus & Pages.

3. From the Site Menu tab, select the page on which you'd like to install your form. You can start by editing /replacing the existing contact page form, and then add it in other areas of your site. Make sure to delete any existing forms before you add in your for from Picsello. To delete an existing form, click on it, then select the trash icon on the right-hand side of the page.

4. Now add your Picsello Contact Form by Clicking the (+) Add button from the menu on the left. Here is how to find your embed code in Picsello

5. Select "embed" from the menu, then click "embed a widget"

6. Click to drag and drop the iframe (on the left) to the location on the page where you want your form to go. Then, click Enter Code. ** In "What do you want to add," make sure Code is selected.

7. Paste the code for your Picsello Contact Form in the "Add your code here" section.

8. Click "Apply".

9. If you need to resize your form, use the sizing drag-and-drop points — make sure to the iframe is big enough to contain all the questions in your form.

10. Click the Preview button in the top right corner of the editor to see what the page will look like before you publish.

11. Click the mobile phone icon in the top toolbar to preview the page on mobile. Repeat the resizing process for the iframe in mobile view to make sure your form looks great on different devices.

12. When you have everything where you want it, click Publish!

Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a WordPress Website:

1. Click on Pages in the side navigation of the WordPress admin page.

2. Select the page on which you want your Contact Form to appear.

3. There will be a text box area, along with two tabs above it labeled Visual and Text; click Text.

4. In the text box area, click the Code button to apply code tags to the text box, then click Enter to start on a new line.

5. Copy and paste the embed code for your Picsello Contact Form into the text box, then click Enter to start on a new line. Here is how to find your embed code in Picsello

6. Click the Code button again to close off the code tags.

7. Click Preview to make sure it's appearing properly on the page.

8. Click Publish to save your changes and apply them to the live site.


Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a Pixieset Website:

1. From your desired Pixieset page, click the + Add Block icon.

2. Select the Others category.

3. Under Advanced, select the Custom Embed Code Block.

4. Click Edit Code.

5. Copy and paste the embed code for your Picsello Contact Form into the text box, then click Enter to start on a new line. Here is how to find your embed code in Picsello

6. Toggle Safe Preview on to see a preview of how the block will look — or, just head right to your site to confirm it looks good!


Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on an Adobe Profile and Portfolio Website:

Adobe only allows certain embed codes on their profiles, so you’ll need to use a link rather than an embed method when you are installing your Picsello lead form to Adobe.

Here are a couple of quick workarounds that will allow you to add your Picsello Lead form to your Adobe profile.

Using a screenshot of your lead form

  1. Take a screenshot of your lead form

  2. Upload this screenshot to your Adobe profile

  3. Hyperlink the image with the link for your lead form.

Using a Contact Me button

  1. Create a Contact Me graphic (Canva has some great options!)

  2. Upload this screenshot to your Adobe profile

  3. Hyperlink the image with the link for your lead form.

By doing this, when someone clicks to fill in the form or image, it will take them to the actual fillable lead form they can then fill out.


Here is How to Install a Picsello Contact Form on a SmugMug Website

SmugMug only allows their own contact form (or a woofoo contact form) on their profiles, so you’ll need to use a link rather than an embed method when you are installing your Picsello lead form to SmugMug.

Here’s a quick workaround that will allow you to add your Picsello Lead form to your SmugMug.

  1. Take a screenshot of your lead form.

  2. Upload this screenshot to your SmugMug website, it can be an additional page that you label as a contact form.

  3. Hyperlink the image with the link for your lead form.

By doing this, when someone clicks to fill in the form, it will take them to the actual fillable lead form they can then fill out.
