Scheduling Booking Events
Arranging calendars can often consume a significant amount of time. At Picsello, our client booking feature is designed to streamline this process, making it effortless for both you and your clients to schedule photo shoots with ease. Let's get some events scheduled!
Step 1: Open Booking Events
Open "Booking Events" from your Picsello Dashboard or from the pulldown menu at the left.
Step 2: Add Booking Event
To add a photography event to your Picsello account, click on "Add booking event".
Step 3: Create Single or Repeating Event
The "Create a Booking Event" window will open. Choose "Single Event" or "Repeating Event" then click "next".
Single Event
To create a single event, click on "Next" to the right of "Single Event".
To the right of "Let's get you booked!", click on "Add Date". NOTE: You can see your other scheduled events by clicking "Calendar."
Enter booking event details, including the event date, start/end times, event address, length of session, and gap time between sessions.
Event Date: Click on the calendar icon in the "Event Date" field and click on the date of your event.
Event Start/End: Click on the clock in the "Event Start" field to select the hour/minute and AM/PM of your event. Do the same for the "Event End" time.
Event Address: Start typing in the "Event Address" field and suggestions will auto-populate for ease of selection.
Session Length: Use the pulldown to select the length of the session.
Session Gap (optional): Use the pulldown to select the number of minutes you want between sessions (a bit of time to prep for the next session). For example, select "5" for 5 minutes in between sessions. The bottom of the window will automatically display the sessions with the gap time.
Repeat Dates: Check the "Repeat dates?" box if you want to repeat the event weekly, monthly, or annually. Select which day(s) you want to repeat the event (for example: Sundays). Select a "Stop repeating" date as the end date for the repeat event. Alternatively, choose "After" to designate a certain number of instances after which the event will cease to be available.
When you've filled in all of the fields, click "Next".
Repeating Event
Enter booking event details, filling out all fields including title, location, shoot address, etc.
Add dates and time slots based on your availability. Based on your selections, the number of available open sessions will automatically populate.
When you've added all the days you are planning to offer, click "next".
Step 4: Select Package

Optional Questionnaire: Click the box next to "Include questionnaire in booking event" and a saved questionnaire will be included in the correspondence with your client.

Some final notes:
Booking events works flawlessly for creating mini-sessions with the ability to detail session length, add buffers in between, and schedule for multiple dates.
While including a session buffer is entirely up to you, consider including it as an opportunity for you to briefly reset between sessions or if a client is running late.
