How to Self-Fulfill Albums or Wall Art in Picsello

Many photographers prefer to self-fulfill their albums or wall art as part of their photography packages or through separate custom orders. Sometimes, if you are like our founder, you have been using a specific album vendor who isn't integrated with anyone but you still want to be able to offer that album vendor!

Here’s a guide on how to streamline this process using Picsello.

Step 1: Decide How to Offer the Product

You can offer albums or wall art as part of your package or as a separate add-on. If included in a package, simply add the album or wall art details to your pricing list. For add-ons or custom orders, you can create a separate invoice through Stripe for seamless payments.

In Package: Mention album or wall art in your package description during the booking process. Simply create a package with the album or wall-art included in the price.

As an Add-On: Here you can simply create a separate invoice using Stripe or your payment processor when the client orders a custom product.

Step 2: Choose Your Vendor

Most photographers partner with specific album companies, framers, or print vendors to ensure quality and consistency. If you’re already working with a vendor, continue placing your orders directly through them.

Step 3: Send Previews for Approval

To ensure client satisfaction, send them previews of the album design or wall art layout before finalizing the order. Most album companies and framers will provide digital proofs non-priced that you can easily share with your clients for approval.

Step 4: Fulfillment and Delivery

Once the client approves the design or layout, proceed with your vendor to fulfill the order. Make sure to confirm the shipping details, especially if you’re offering direct delivery to your clients.

Step 5: Track Invoices and Payments

If albums or wall art are offered as part of a package, you can track these costs and payments within Picsello’s invoicing system or separately in Stripe. For add-on orders, we recommend using your Stripe account so all of your credit card accounting is in one place!

Common Questions

Do I have to use a specific vendor? No, you can choose any vendor that suits your style and business needs. Whether it’s an album company or a framer, Picsello allows you the flexibility to work with your preferred partners.

How do I invoice clients for custom orders? You can generate a separate invoice using Stripe or any other payment method you prefer. This is especially helpful for one-off orders or upgrades.

This process gives you full control over the quality and timing of your product delivery while maintaining a seamless experience for your clients.
