ICC Profiles

To calibrate your monitor, WHCC recommends that your target white point is set to 6500k, and gamma curve to Gamma 2.2.

Next, you'll need to embed your ICC profile into your file. If you're unsure how to do this or which ICC profile to use, you can learn more here.

Photoshop Considerations

When ordering from WHCC you will need to make sure your color profile is set to sRGB for the best color match from the printer. Adobe RGB will also work! These settings are found in slightly different places on Mac and Windows.

For Mac users: Find Photoshop in the Menu Bar > Color Settings
For Windows users: Edit in the Menu Bar > Color Settings

Once there, you'll find different color profiles. Adobe RGB (1998) or sRGB IEC61966-2.1 are the recommended color settings for WHCC. If you can't decide between the two, it's recommended that you use sRGB IEC61966-2.1.

If you need more information or specifics about this process, check the Adobe Photoshop Setup section here.WHCC's Proofing ICC Profiles

WHCC has ICC Profiles available to help you test how your images might print through their services. These are only available to help you proof your images, and should never be embedded or saved into your files.

You can view WHCC's proofing ICC profiles here, at the very bottom of the page, within the section titled Proofing with ICC Profiles.
